RAMS’ POCKET RADIO is Peter McCauley, a drummer, pianist and songwriter from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Unfettered personal expression is the focus, and with the timeless works of the 1950′s product designer Dieter Rams in mind; purity, simplicity and longevity are the first concerns.
Rams’ pocket radio has gathered a volume of positive reviews and has recieved airplay locally and nationally, this includes two Radio 1 NI live sessions and selection for the prestigious BBC 6 Music ‘Introducing’ podcast with Tom Robinson.

Rams’ pocket radio was selected among several other bands by a music industry panel to record a track for the ‘OhYeah Contenders Compilation’ This was released in September 2010 and is available on itunes.

The band supported Darwin Deez on 3 Irish dates of his tour in November 2010 and have recently opened for Foy Vance on his Irish tour.
